While the price of natural gas has been its lowest for many years in North America, thanks to technology known as fracking, which extracts gas trapped deep in the rocks, British energy consumers are paying one of the highest prices in Europe thanks to the madness of coalition government obsession with green energy targets that makes little economic sense. The news that Shale gas fracking operations should be allowed to resume in the Britain as long as “robust” measures are adopted to safeguard against future risks according to recommendation by an independent report had two contrasting receptions in two different camps.

Iran’s Nuclear Threat to Britain is Real©
Following latest reports of discovering concealed uranium enrichment facilities in Iran assessed by experts to enable the Islamic Republic to produce nuclear bomb within months, the possibility of Israel launching a pre-emptive action is increasing by the day. The likelihood is for pro-Iran terrorist groups to attack western targets in revenge. Both British interest in the region and mainland Britain are almost certain to be in the sight of such groups.
The government , therefore, must make it clear to Iranian leaders that if they target British interests or subjects to retaliate in the event of Israeli attack on their nuclear facilities the response would be swift, precise and painful taking place on Iran’s mainland, not just condemnation in UN or economic sanctions.

It is hilarious how British left which has doubled in volume its attacks on News International and Rupert Murdoch since the latter announced the launch of the Sun On Sunday ( a three million copies rolled out of the printing machines last night), are in total panic. Although circulation figures are not officially known yet, but from my own experience it is a success. If I hadn’t ordered my copy yesterday, I wouldn’t have got one this morning at 10:30 when I left the house heading for Starbucks in Hampstead village. Hampstead (where Michael Foot used to live surrounded by champagne socialists, and Glenda Jackson is the sitting Labour MP for two decades) is the heartland of The Guardian and The Independent; yet my local newsagent confirmed that all copies were sold by the time I approached the shop at 10:35 this morning.
